Emily is passionate about the role of natural medicine in preventing and management of cardiovascular disease, including diabetes, heart disease and stroke.

As a specialist cardiac nurse, Emily is uniquely qualified to assist patients who are wanting to reduce their risk of heart disease, have a family history or have a cardiovascular condition diagnosed.

Emily has been a registered nurse since 2005 and went on to work in acute care units in a hospital setting. Working in this setting highlighted the gaps to Emily within this acute care model and propelled her into studying naturopathy with a passion to manage cardiovascular disease from a holistic approach, with a strong focus on preventative care and ensuring that the underlying causes are addressed.

Emily’s goal is to help people understand the factors in their life that contribute to the development of cardiovascular disease and support them in modifying these risk factors through targeted diet and lifestyle interventions alongside evidence based nutritional supplementation and herbal medicine.

Alongside her Nursing and Naturopathy qualifications, Emily is passionate about the mind-body connection and explores the role that it plays in health and disease with her patients. She has experienced first-hand how changing your thoughts and emotions can profoundly improve your physical and mental health.

Having a firm foundation in both the traditional medical model and natural medicine gives Emily a multifaceted understanding of health and healthcare and enables her to combine the best of both traditional and natural healthcare to ensure her clients achieve the best results..
